The Rotaract Club of Madras East was chartered on 21st May 2025 by a group of bold changemakers determined to rewrite the narrative of youth leadership and community service. Built on the belief that meaningful change happens when passionate individuals come together, the club brings together a diverse community of artists, entrepreneurs, working professionals, and students united by a common purpose, to create lasting social impact. Since its inception, the club has focused on empowering communities and recognizing those who dedicate their lives to service. One of its signature initiatives, The SEED Awards, was launched during the charter year and received over 700+ nominations from across Tamil Nadu. Through this initiative, 13 exceptional NGOs were identified and honoured for their outstanding contributions to society. Beyond community service, the club is committed to shaping the next generation of leaders through youth development initiatives such as RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), providing young individuals with opportunities to learn, grow, and lead with purpose. At its core, the Rotaract Club of Madras East exists to inspire action, nurture leadership, and create a community of individuals who are passionate about making a difference.
